Emile Ghantous is a Chicago born songwriter/musician from Lebanese origins, songwriter and record producer, who has worked on albums that have accumulated over 5 million in sales worldwide. He is, alongside Erik Nelson, a founding member of the successful songwriting/production duo The Insomniax.[1] Ghantous has been at the heart of the current music scene, working with the who's who of current industry heavyweights, such as but not limited to, JLS, Jason Derülo, Prince Royce, Che'Nelle, Lemarvin Harris, Bobby V (formerly Bobby Valentino), JoJo, Fat Joe, Boyz II Men, Jon B., and R. Kelly. Ghantous was a writer/producer on the hit selling album by JoJo "The High Road", writing and producing on "Get It Poppin". The album has sold over 2 million units worldwide. Emile also worked with Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band, writing and producing "Never Got Enough" and "Throw It Away."[2]
Emile Ghantous and The Insomniax have taken off to new levels in 2011. Lemarvin Harris is the first artist released through their Insomniax imprint with Swiss-based record label "Unique Army", a division of the brandgeneration AG. Other major projects include JLS, Prince Royce, Frankie J, Fabian Buch, Clara Louise, Alfonso Loher, O-Town, Jordyn Taylor, Velvet Angels, I-15, Ralph Tresvant and more.
